Speaker Profile

Dr. Gregory Neimeyer

Distinguished Teaching Scholar · Professor Emeritus, University of Florida

Dr. Gregory Neimeyer brings extensive experience in clinical practice, psychology education, and professional training. A lifetime inductee of the University of Florida’s Academy of Distinguished Teaching Scholars, he served as Graduate Coordinator and Director of Training in its doctoral counseling psychology program.

He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and has served as Director of its Office of Continuing Education in Psychology. His clinical experience spans medical residency programs, Veterans Affairs medical centers, university counseling centers, and private practice.

In this course, his instruction and the accompanying clinical interviews help connect eating-disorder concepts with the complexity of real-world practice.
